Copy of Jail from Simcity 4 that was recreated pixel by pixel. I try to stick to the original model as much as possible and I hope did well. :) The original one has floor height about 4-5 meters that very unrealistic and I decided to reduce it, so building can looks a little squised in compared to the original from Simcity 4.

The asset doesn't have custom props, so you don't need to subscribe for anything else, but you need a After Dark DLC, because prisons were added there.

Prison vans: 5
Cells: 300

Noise radius is a lot smaller than CS prison noise radius.


Main model: 16,263 tris and 1024x1024 texture.
LOD: 194 tris and 128x128 texture.

I never played SimCity, but I'm loving all of these buildings...they all look great no matter the map theme. I really wish Cities Skylines looked like this instead most of the ugly, colorful buildings that we currently have. Thank you for making these!

I never even played Simcity (Cities:Skylines was my first and only city builder game), and I really love all of these Cimcity 4 buildings. They look great in the city! Thank you for creating and sharing! :steamthumbsup:

That's why you use 80% spec. It blocks the fake interior floor from rendering.

Exterior phototextures on windows and doors are usually not great, because in many cases they get pretty repetitive (that was more visible on the previous police station with the antenna in the window texture).
A simple dark texture allows the skybox to reflect in the window instead.
There's a few cases where custom textures work, like curtains or blinds. Those could repeat on a building, but they are interior elements, not reflections.

The assets are well colour corrected though, so that's nice.

Gèze, thanks you for advice. I know about that site and I using exactly 80% spec here so. Ill look to normal map. About windows texture, well, I think the phototextures looks better than just a flat color and cs default floors, but maybe it's just preferences.

In general it looks nice, but it seems like normal map on the bricks is inverted.
It would also help to not use phototexture windows/doors because with low specularity they look bad. We usually use 80% spec.
