Apple Maps Navigation

This mod turns your boring cabin navigation screen into a fresh looking Apple Maps style navigation.

As for now the following changes where made:
  • Blue navigation path
  • Apple style map icons
  • New background and road colors like on your iPhone (Background only in cabin, not in Route Advisor)
  • Added Siri voice navigation (only english and german) with metric or imperial units

To get Siri voice navigation, you need to select the desired language in the audio settings.



Compatibility

The mod is tested in game version 1.53.x.

No DLCs required but it works with all of them.

May not work with other map mods.

Not working in TruckersMP.

is it possible to create a version that switches to white when the headlights are off and to black when the headlights are on like the waze navigation mods

Dynamically changing backgrounds are technically possible. Since the colours of roads, buildings, grass and so on are different in the light and dark mode, there are no plans for implementing such a feature.

Any chance to get a version that can change navigator background colour from light to dark dynamically in game (i.e. day mode and night mode)?

Currently in ProMods 2.70, the Apple Maps Navigation is working, but the map is misaligned. Is that because I am using ProMods ME and TGS, or does the mod need updating to be compatible?

That’s not an Apple phone. It’s just the default SCS phone coming with cabin accessories dlc.
