Описание
This is a remake of a old Upload of mine, now featurung a very detailed cab, new engines, improved Physics and very detailed electrics.

Basics: In this docomument the word "Engine" describes (one) prime mover, the locomotive is refered to as locomotive.

How To operate:

A. Startup:
1.Turn on battery (behind panel 2 under driverside walkway) [on by default]
2. Enter Cab
3. check all fuses
4. Wait until both engines have reached at least 32°C (92°F)
5. Start both engines, first Engine 2 then Engine 1
6. Set up MU/DPU or activate the cab with the flip switch "Control" on the main desk
7. Set up Brakes as required, secure locomotive with ind. Brake
8. release parking brake (under Brakeman seat towards engine hood)

B. General Operation:

1.Braking:

The Locomotive is equipped with self lapping Brakes as well as with hydrostatic Brakes. Hydrostatic Brakes can be activated by a flipswitch on the main Desk, the hydrostic brake is connected to the train brakes, a seperate use of only hydrostatic brakes is currently not possible. NOTE: when using hydrostic brakes the engine will rep up to about 10 RPS to increase cooling capacity, the hydrostatic brake is most efficient near top speed and will disable itself at speed lower than about 10-15 mph.

2.Reverser

When spawned in the locomotive as no reverser set, to select a direction, the cab must be activated and the reverser has to be put in one direction (W for forward, S for backwards). To deactivate the cab and enter MU/DPU mode, the reverser has to be set to 0 again (No direction indecators light up) and the control switch has to be turned off.

3. Throttle

The Locomotive is equipped with two Maybach MD 870 Engines, each governed by a Woodward regulator.
The Cabcontrol is layed out as a 15 Notch setup (in MU mode only Notches 0,2,4,6,8,10,11,13,15 are set). Increase and decrease power slowly (one notch per second) to prevent damage on the turbochargers and pistons)

C. Starting a train
1. release train brake
2. notch up to notch 1 or 2 to engange the hydraulic transmission
3. release independand brakes as soon as you hear the engines get "loaded"
4. Slowly increase power till the train starts moving. NOTE: Avoid notch 11 or more when going below 20 mph for more
than a few minutes to prevent overheating of the gearboxes
5. Notch down slowly when approaching target speed NOTE: Max speed of the locomotive is 70 mph)

does this have head end power for the gallery cars?

i can confirm it works, but it cant pull any cars at all when i tested it.

the breakers are on by default, turning the flip switches "on" turns the circuit off. they are basically inverted since you can't make the flipswitches on by default
