ADVANCED & COMPLETE TRUST FACTOR GUIDE
By M0rpheus
After CS:GO stopped being free-to-play some of the Trust Factor mechanics have changed, and with them the quality of matchmaking in MM. In the guide, I will explain what has changed and how, in today's realities, you can get out of the "bottom" of the trust factor.

WHAT IS TRUST FACTOR IN CS:GO?
It is very brief here, since this topic is already known to many and there are already quite a few guides on it.

Trust Factor

This is a combination of various game factors that affect the selection of players in the game. More specifically, the trust factor is affected by the total time they spent in the game, how often reports were sent to them, the time spent in other games on their Steam account, and so on.

(By the way, this is actually a Prime badge, but it is also used to represent Trust Factor)

LVL OF TRUST FACTOR YOU HAVE?
For ease of understanding, further I will use the notation of the trust factor by color, as is customary:

  • High Factor - Green
  • Average Factor - Yellow
  • Low Factor - Red
  • Now there is still the VERY BOTTOM - I will call it Black))

So, there are several ways to find out the trust level of your account.

Option 1

Based on the trust factor of your friend/acquaintance

Invite to the lobby a player who, in your opinion, has a low trust factor and start searching for an MM (a familiar cheater, smurf, or some inadequate acquaintance, because everyone has such)

If you see something like this in the chat window - 80/20 that you have either a Green or Yellow trust factor:

Why is that? The fact is that this plate shows the trust factor of another player RELATED to yours. That is, it does not guarantee 100% that you have a Green trust factor, and your teammate has a Red one. All levels of the trust factor are also divided into some conventional units, showing a more accurate% or a certain level of your trust factor, which, however, is practically impossible to find out. Thus, you can only find out the approximate "color" of the trust factor, but not get exact data about it.

This is the fastest way to find out if your teammate has a low trust factor and try to figure out which factor you have. Of course, it is not very convenient, and it is not clear how close your brother's trust factor is, unfortunately, to the VERY BOTTOM. In addition, there is always the possibility that your trust factor is also not ideal.

Option 2

Game selection time

  • By the time of the selection of the rink, you can also guess what trust factor you have.
  • If you have a Green trust factor - the game is searched for 2-3 minutes maximum, because there are about 70% of people with a high trust factor in the game
  • I have never been to the Yellow Trust Factor, but according to the stories of acquaintances, the selection time is hardly higher there - up to 5 minutes
  • On the Red Confidence Factor, you can wait up to 10 minutes for a game
  • On Black for about 10-30 minutes, and most likely you will be thrown either against derankers, or against a full stack of cheaters with twists

Option 3

Selection of Ranks in MM

Just go to the game MM. I think, by the game of teammates or enemies, you will immediately understand what's what and what trust factor you are on :)

However, take a look at the ranks at the end of the game. If you observe something like this:

This means that your trust factor is already at the level of "Black" ;)
If you chew it, then when selecting a game, it is now the trust factor of your account that is taken into account in the first place. If he is at the VERY BOTTOM, then no matter what rank you have, how many hours, what level of your Steam account, how many medals for service, skins and other things, you will be 100% thrown to the same as you - players with the Black Trust Factor.

As you can see, in the screenshot, the T team has a lot of medals, badges, high ranks, and you can also see the clan tag of one of the most famous cheats in this game :)
I think this is sorted out.

Option 4

Your past game experience

Yes, this is also taken into account by the game. If your computer has been noticed many times for the fact that accounts were banned by VAC in CS: GO on it, then your new account (whether with or without prime, registered by you personally or even bought / borrowed from a friend) will automatically be given that trust factor, which you deserve in the opinion of the game.
Most likely, the game somehow looks at your HWID (your computer identifier - hardware serial number, hard drive, etc.) and possibly even at the IP address and determines that either an honest player or an avid cheater who urgently plays on this computer you need to slap the appropriate factor so that he comes across against his own kind.

Well, who knows, maybe someone did not know what VAC looks like xD

If you have not played with cheats on your PC and you have never had any account banned, you have nothing to fear - in 90% of cases your trust factor will be green (which, however, does not detract from the likelihood of getting against a legitimate cheater)

The remaining 10% is made up of the number of reports that are sent to you (because you may play an order of magnitude higher than your rank, which leads to distrust on the part of the players), from the number of your hours, victories and other statistics, up to your activity in the Steam Community.

Since there are countless guides on what affects your Trust Factor, here is just a short list of possible reasons for your Trust Factor to drop:

A lot of reports from players (and you are not necessarily a cheater or a smurf, maybe you are toxic or behave inappropriately in the game)
Constantly leaving the game and your time block level has reached level 4 (if you often leave before the end of the match, you are given a temporary block in MM for 30 minutes - 2 hours - a day - 7 days)
Few hours in CS:GO and other games
The presence of VAC and game bans in different games
Not active in the Steam community (do not make guides, do not leave comments)
Your Steam account was not created by you, but bought somewhere (do you think that Steam does not see a sudden change in the user's IP? :)))

By the way, yes, keep in mind that a temporary block can be given because you often kick teammates or cause them a lot of damage

To increase your trust factor, follow all the rules of the game accordingly, don't play with cheats and blah blah blah....

Let's jump straight into what CAN REALLY AFFECT your trust factor.

INCREASE OF YOUR TRUST FACTOR?
Firstly

Everything listed in the section above lowers your trust factor, so do the opposite and everything will be OK

Secondly...

If you play on the Red-Black trust factor, then the game considers you a cheater or toxic. In the first case, you win too many games in a row, get reports, etc. In the second case, you get toxic, get reports, and so on. Everything is simple and obvious.

If you are a real cheater who plays "by rage", then you can forget about the normal game - you most likely ended up in hell with your own kind forever.

If you are not a cheater, but, for example, a smurf, then there is a way out for you - merge the rollers. However, do it wisely - don't stand afk, don't get in the way of teammates, and don't be toxic. Pretend to be a noob, go into negative K/D and get no more than 10-15 frags per game. Then, after a series of leaked games, the trust factor will most likely increase, because you will not receive reports. Alternatively, you can pick up a couple of clutches and ask your teammates to give you praise inside the game. So you can slowly get to a higher level of the trust factor.

BUT!!! FORGET ABOUT COMMENDING! IT WILL DECREASE YOUR TRUST FACTOR!

To increase the trust factor, you need to receive praise only when playing MM, all the rest (obtained on the community servers, DM, in Normal mode, etc.) will either not be taken into account by the trust factor system, or if you receive a lot of praise at a time, then they will be counted as cheated, which will reduce the trust factor

Thirdly

If you understand that you have a Yellow trust factor, but you want Green (or Red --> Yellow respectively), then try the following:

Level up your Steam. It is very easy to raise LVL from level 3 to 10 - literally buy cards for 5 badges. In addition, it is possible to get as many as 2-3 Steam levels for free! To do this, complete the tasks of the community:

Profile --> Badges --> Community badge

Complete all tasks (they are not difficult at all)

Buy more games on your account and directly play them so that the system sees your activity
The method is not the cheapest, but quite working

Play a lot, buy more games
With the Black Trust Factor, it won't work that way. This is really the BOTTOM. It is quite possible that you can get out of there only with the help of third-party software that will reset the HWID or if you buy a completely new PC and change the IP :)

Also make your profile public, like guides (like this one) and write comments.

UPD: Skins do not affect the trust factor in any way. Even if you have 100 knives and 10 dragon lores, the game will still take into account your Steam account statistics, and not the inventory price.

BASICS
1. Use Steam Guard.
2. Make your profile public.
3. Become an active member of the Steam Community.
4. Play games often without cheating.
5. Get commended commended by your teammates.
6. Do not kick anyone out of the game.
7. Do not block your teammates and do not harm your teammate in the game.
8.Do more OVERWATCH cases.
9. Like guides like this.
10. Add more friends.
11. Comment on many different profiles, discussions and guides like this one.
12. You can give Award if you like.
13. Valve loves MONEY so BUY anything in-game like capsules
14. Collect Steam GAME CARDS and do Badges

16. Contact VALVE Support

CONCLUSION
In general, for most of the CS:GO community, the trust factor is not a problem, unlike underage morons cheaters, whom you can meet on both the Green and Yellow trust factors, to say nothing of the lower levels.

However, if you care about the quality of your game, it is worth considering how to raise your level of trust using the methods outlined above.

I really hope the guide helped you.
