Hey, Rin. I went ahead and published a work in progess guide for the new map which includes the beetle nests I've found. If you want to use the images and descriptions and add them to this guide, feel free to do so! I ended up finding five and I believe I got the one you mentioned between Graystone and Miner's Folly. I did not see one around Deadfall Timber's eastern forest if you were recalling that correctly. 5 would make sense as that was the maximum for the old maps, but I would like it if there was just ONE more in the southwest.

There's a beetle on the massive tree (same model as Lockbay Dock's west tree) at the fork in the road 30m north of Montero's Malt. On the map, the paths form an oval shape around it.

i need to redo a lot of them, @Leaflover Special, however there is the OTHER big tree south of the building that has the beetle spawns

i lost the original files in a unfortunate windows update that merked my PC so id have to redo the maps.

Lockbay doesnt have a spawn anymore and i found one randomly once, cant remember where exactly...
