Introduction
In the new DLC "By Blood Alone" (BBA), a new peace conference mechanic is introduced. However, not every changes of it make sense. E.g. tons of puppet for the same country, not enough points to take over all land (WHY?), and countless other bugs / imperfections.

This guide will walk you through the basics of how to make your life easier when playing the game after the BBA update!
Step 0: Don't buy the DLC (yet)
Very important, if you haven't get yourself the new DLC, don't buy it, at least not before everything is fixed!!!
Step 1: Go to LIBRARY and select Hearts of Iron IV
  • Click on LIBRARY in your steam client
  • Find the setting button on your right-hand-side and click on it
  • Select "Properties..."



  • On the left, click "BETAS"
  • Find and select "1.11.13 - Barbarossa (Old)" in the drop down menu




  • On the left, click "DLC"
  • Find and uncheck the box for "Hearts of Iron IV: By Blood Alone" in the list
Enjoy!
Wait for the download to happen and you can now enjoy the game for what it should be.
Profit in taking all states in a 1 on 1 fight is now possible again!
