RETURN TO LEVEL 0 (--KEEPING SKILLS--)
By -Fazzer
It is an easy to follow guide, it is about how you can (Raise More Points In Skills). Since the game only gives you 50 levels to climb and it does not give you enough points to (Be Able To Improve More Skill Branches) since with the 50 levels you could almost only do like 2 skill branches

Important information!!
You can see my new guide here:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3575480191

!!!---To do this you need to have the game Close Or in the START MENU---!!!

What you are about to see in this guide was only tested in offline mode and no penalty has been received for this. But it is under the responsibility of whoever decide to use it.

It could happen
  1. Points to learn crafts can disappear
  2. When you level down, learning crafts greater than the level you have will be blocked
  3. The crafts already learned could be used even if you are of a lower level
  4. Some missions/Explorations could be left as you did not do them
  5. the points available to learn skills disappear when changing the xp digits in the file
Those are some of the experiences that (I) have had, any other situation that may happen. I could add them if they comment
DOCUMENT LOCATION
!!!The location of the files changed!!!

The documents that we will occupy will be in the AppData folder which is hidden to be able to enter we can use (win + R) and enter the text (% appdata%) Or also in the file explorer use
( C:Users[!!Your user!!]AppData )

And there it will be The Local folder Where we will find another one that says (Icarus), then we will go to (Saved) and then to (PlayerData) Inside open some digits which may be different

( C:Users[!!Your user!!]AppDataLocalIcarusSavedPlayerData7674***************)

CHANGE THE LEVEL
And there will be the file that we need ( Characters.json ) Inside the file will come a lot of data but in the first line of text we only need to find the one that says
"[XP\":(!! X Amount of numbers !!)]

!!It is important that if you have more than one character you check the name that it also has, otherwise you could be altering another character you have !!

Once we find the part that says "XP\":(Amount of numbers)

we will have to put it as (0) only in the numbers no in the "XP\":

Once I make this change we can return to the game and we can see that our character is level 0. We will continue to have our learned crafts and skills. And as we play and level up we will get more points for skills.

----The End----
I have to say that this was discovered by me while exploring for game files.
And I'm happy to see it done since the Skills method used by the game is somewhat annoying to me as I can't get very good skills without having to run out of others due to the issue of points that are very limited

But for that I bring this guide for other users who have the same problem

I hope I could have helped you if this guide was useful to you

I do not know if in the future something that I showed here will change so I will leave the date on which I update the guide

Last update of the guide 01/11/2023

Still works at 01/11/2024

At the time of updating the guide, the (Return To Level 0) method still works

This guide is originally mine. It was not made based on a video or other guides.

Work with today Update

I did this soon after Icarus was released because a bug made my character unusable after dozens of hour of play. I'm a retired dev, so it was easy to figure out. But, props to you for publishing this for all those who need it. :BMW_SALUTE:

If you look in the files you can modify your level, the level of your skills, the credits and the items in your inventory, maybe more things but I haven't played for a while.

That's why the guide only talks about skills. It's true that you can also modify the credits and other things but the game would lose its meaning. That's why I only cover skills because, when playing alone and having few points distributed in different branches, it's very difficult to have a good game.
