After the success of my previous (rather blocky) Green Hill Zone map, I've created a brand new map!

-Featuring new trees and animated flower models!


This one is far less blocky and far more open. Over the months since I uploaded my last map I've learned a lot about Hammer in terms of artistic tricks and optimization. However the map is made almost entirely out of displacements so optimization is fairly limited. Hopefully it still runs okay for everyone.

I got a question, i cannot load the map. It says i don't have particle affects and whatever else. Can someone please help me with this? Thanks.

It looks like your system isn't fully capable of using sfm to it's full potential. You probably need a graphics card. SFM uses a thing called HDR and incompatible systems look all washed out like that.

Sorry, sort of new to sfm. So I can load the map and animate but the models never look good in it. Is it a lighting thing or what? Look at Classic Sonic in my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mys3GZx-DYA

This is a cool map, but I'd like to have a version that has a dusk and night light scheme, if possible. Any chance of doing that?
