Report a translation problem
I think the item you're talking about is either the one you get from defeating the final boss (of the main game) or the one you get from beating the gauntlet (also in the main game). If it's not one of those, do let me know so I can open the game up and check it out for sure.

It seems that the cursed and lost captain achievements are new. Once I get those achievements, I'll make sure to update the guide, but I imagine that you just find the two bosses and beat 'em.
In the pause menu, you might notice a tab called "Pokedex", which lists all the enemies that you have found. Until you have found and defeated the enemy, it won't list its name, where to find them, or even what entry it is. If you are missing an entry and you don't know what it could be, I recommend that you 1) make sure that the enemy isn't one of the three "secret" enemies (which I listed as a spoiler in my previous comment to Krokar), 2) make sure that the enemy isn't in the final gauntlet, and finally 3) go through every level again and make sure to explore and kill everything you find.
