1. Held the Macalle, so Italy never got Aussa. This works reliably if you keep 1-2 divisions to reinforce the two provinces and use the "defend" command when needed.
2. Pushing them out in the north is not easy - need to push for the port quickly or they will reinforce and you will bog down.
3. In the south - be very careful, dont advance flat put and stretch yourself. Go down the river on the left, take the port and then push towards the second port. You will cut off supplies and then mopping them up will be easy.
With ai change it became more challenging but still managable, you'll have to pull low org troops out earlier due to their drastically reduced speed
After getting rid of the Italians, though, I tried to set up a new Africa free of imperialists, but could never get anyone to join with me, no matter how much diplomacy I tried or revolts I supplied.
