Ps5 is running on 4k downscaled to 1440p, making the image much better and crisp compared to regular 1440p on this monitor.

On native 1440p which you can set, the ps5 does not support vrr making games not as smooth. You can still play it on that resolution if you prefer. But I prefer it with VRR so 4k downscaled to 1440p is my preference.

HDMI 2.1 is needed for VRR in order to fully use the capabilities of console gaming. Hopefully in the future Playstation updates a firmware in which both VRR is supported with 1440p as it is much needed.

This monitor can Overclock to 260 hz for pc gaming for those that are competitive and need that edge.

Pardon this video as I recorded it with my samsung galaxy note 20 ultra while playing and recording with one hand over the other at the same time.
