In "The Black Heart" the player slips into the role of Cavalorn, a character already known from Gothic I & II. Vatras, the water magician, gives him the task of bringing a powerful artifact with his brother from the ring of water, Gaan, to a powerful water magician named Aguas.
The artifact is the heart of Beliar's Claw. Saturas and the other water mages wanted to destroy it, but failed because of the heart of the claw. That's why Master Aguas should try it now.

The Heart of the Claw is no ordinary artifact, however. It attempts to possess and deceive the wielder... will you be able to withstand the heart of the claw and destroy it?
"The Black Heart" is an action-packed experience for Gothic II. With a playing time of 1-2 hours, it can be viewed as a mini-mod.
