Hello and welcome.

With this guide I'll try to show you how to unlock every achievement in The Last Express Gold Edition available on steam.
Please note that because of the freedom of action that game offers, number of the achievements can be obtained at several varying points during our adventure. In this guide I'm not to going to attempt to cover them all, in most cases I'll offer just 1 solution that I encountered during my playthrough, but depending on your actions there's very good chance you'll have an opportunity to get your unlocks at different time than I did.

Kudos for "101 ways to die" go to Thalion whose checklist helped me big time with that rather annoying achievement.

After boarding the train head to compartment 1. Tyler's body in lying on the floor. If it's found, game ends so we must dispose of it, either immediatelly or during night time.
To get the achievement "Stash the body", second option is valid choice.
Grab poor Tyler, open the side bed, put him there and close the bed to hide the body.

To get this achievement you must dispose of Tyler's corpse by throwing him out of compartment's window.
You can do it either immediatelly after discovering the body, or hide the corpse and get rid of it after sun dusk, just remember not to wait too long, or body will be discovered.
In any case, as Tyler goes out of the window, achievement will unlock.

"The Black Hand" unlocks after your meeting with Milos in compartment 1, during Paris-Chalons part of the journey.
Milos should be waiting for you there around 20.30, deal with him and the achievement's yours.

Cath's dream can't really be missed. It unlocks after dream sequence on the first night of the trip when train is travelling from Strasbourg to Ulm.

This achievement can be unlocked during Ulm to Munich part of the journey.
Go to the Smoking Compartment and sit at the table by the clock. Beetle that you'll later want to exchange with little Francois, will be running on the table. To catch it select matchbox from your inventory, remove the matches and let the hunt begin!

To get this achievement you need to read diary from Rebecca and Sophie's compartment (E).
Good moment to do this, and couple of other achievements listed below, is during afternoon concert in Kronos's private car.
Concert starts around 15.00 during Linz - Vienna part of the journey and lasts around 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to explore the train.

After reading the diary you may also want to use the window to get to Anna's compartment (F) and from bottom part of her jewelery box get train master key - you are going to need it for couple of other achievements described below.

Both of those achievements can be obtained only during concert mentioned above.
To get them you also need the master key from Anna's compartment (see above how to get it).
Use the key to open the outside door between rear sleeping can and Kronos's car and climb onto the roof. Enter Kronos's car through the glass roof.
Reading documents on the bedside table will unlock "Kronos's papers".
To get the other achievement you need to find and press hidden button on the wall next to the the wardrobe. Case with gold coins will be revealed, take it and the achievement's yours.

Another achievement which can be obtained during the concert - to get it you need to search Tatiana's belongings in compartment B. Finding a photo unlocking the achievement shouldn't be too difficult.

Both can also be obtained during the concert - to get them you need to search the case of herr August Schmidt who occupies compartment 3. To get inside you will need to distract the conductor first, easiest way to do it is by ringing the bell in your own compartment 1.
When the conductor is busy use the master key to enter compartment 3.
August's case is on the shelf above the bed. When you open it, you will immediatelly notice the letter reading of which will unlock 1 of the achievs. In the same case, slightly on the side, are the photos you need to click to unlock achievement number 2.

To get this achievement you need to have case with gold the moment train arrives in Vienna.
Kronos and his bodyguard will let you keep it only in case if you hand them over the golden egg, so that's what you have to do after the concert in Kronos's car is over.
This of course also means that you lose the game, but there will be much more reverting the clock so don't worry about it too much :)

After giving the egg to Kronos you may also want to show the case with gold to August in compartment 3. Not doing it may result in other, rather grim ending to your journey, and not getting the achievement we are after.

This achievement unlocks during Galanta-Budapest part of the journey, after situation with Alexei and his plans is resolved.
When you're done dealing with the bomb you should head to smoking compartment, when you see Anna leave, follow her to her compartment. Don't let her stay alone and the achievement should unlock.

A reward for making it to the Istanbul.
No special actions are needed.

Very likely the last achievement you will get. Getting it will require lots of reverting the clock as the goal here is to experience great majority of "bad" endings this game has to offer.
Fortunatelly they're not 101 and you need to experience only most of them, not all, but that's going to take you few hours anyway.

Past Paris part of journey

-You don't touch Tyler's body and the conductor finds it.
-The conductor finds you with the body.
-The conductor finds you with blood on your jacket.
-You put Tyler's body in the bed but you don't close the bed.
-You knock a lot of times on the harem doors and you're kicked out of the train.
-You talk to Schmidt before finding Tyler's body. He goes to his compartment and finds it.
-You use the emergency brake (suicide button).
-Milos comes to your compartment, and finds Tyler's body on the floor or on the bed.
-Milos kills you with a knife (throat or stomach).
-You hide Tyler's body in the bed, but you don't get rid of it before conductor comes to prepare your bed.

Eperney

-If you threw Tyler's body through the window during day time, police comes to the train. If you don't hide it's game over.

Wels: concert time

-You don't hide the Firebird with Max: Kahina finds it sooner or later and the game ends in Vienna.
-Tatiana catches you with the Firebird in your hands: you can't get it again and Kahina gets it.
-You jump to the locomotive from the roof twice.
-Kahina kills you because she finds you in Kronos's room before the concert.
-Kahina kills you because you didn't bring the Firebird or the gold.
-You give the Firebird to Kronos.
-You didn't show the gold to Schmidt, so the serbian didn't get their weapons and kill you.
-Vesna kills you with a knife.
-You didn't save Anna from Vesna, and you find her body.
-The conductor finds Anna's body with the luggage.

Galanta

-You don't steal the clock from Alexei's luggage.

Before Budapest

-You don't find the bomb.
-You talk to Abbot before defusing the bomb.
-You mess up defusing the bomb: don't get the box, open the box, use your hands to defuse...

Belgrad (the serbians take over the train)

-Serbian #1 knocks you out.
-You go to the restaurant and Vesna kills you.
-Serbian #2 crowbar kills you with a crowbar.
-Vesna kills you with her sword.
-You're still standing up on the roof when the train approaches the tunnel.
-You didn't unhook the passenger cars when you get to the locomotive.
-You let the train stop.
-You didn't stop the train but you didn't unhook the passenger cars.

Before Constantinople

-You left the firebird in the unhooked cars.
-You wait a lot of time to get the Firebird to Kronos.
-You don't give the firebird to Kronos.
-You don't open the Firebird.
-You don't use the whistle.
