Hello gamers! Today, I will show you how to open half life 1!

The first step is to install the game!!!!

To do this, go onto your steam library onto the game section. Then, click on half life, like this.


After that, press the big install button, and make sure before hand that you have atleast 474.47mb.
also make sure that you have the minimum requirements, as this game can be pretty hard to run!!!!!!!!
to check game requirements, go onto the store page where it says, minimum requirements.

These are the requirements for half life one, even with my 3080ti i only get 30fps in small areas :((((((((.

Click the install button that looks like this:>


if ur mouse dpi is over 1000dpi, u could miss this button, so be carefeul.

after this, a popup should appear that looks like this

Decide for urself if u want those tick boxes. if u check desktop shortcut u can find a different way to install the game layter!

once downloaded, make sure to scan ur pc for viruses as gaben may have chosen to hak ur pc.

Afterwards, ur ready for the next step

To sum, this may be the easiest way to access half life 1.

first, from the stor page,click the big "library".
after wards on left side, u will seee all off ur games., scrolll down to half life and click it.
then, make sure to verify integrity of game files to scan for vireuses
Restart your computer and launch Steam
Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game's Library page on the far right
From the drop down menu, select Properties...
Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button
Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes
Warning:
Do not run the verification process while performing other system-intensive processes, such as defragmenting your hard drive or scanning for viruses.

Do not run this process for multiple games at the same time.

This is on my portrait monitor. As u can see i am hgiding my desktop icons and taskbar. t o show ur icons and unhide half life, righ t click anywhere on the screen., this will pop up.
click on show more options. hover over view and select" show more options.
