• Upscaling. AMD FSR 1.0 Ultra Quality improves the performance over standard upscaling.
• Reflections. This setting actually eats less FPSes than the lowest setting.
• Anisotropy. Distant things will look better. Does not impact framerate a lot.
• Particles. I did not know mice were particles 🤣 anyway, it adds critters and is worth keeping high. Does not impact framerate a lot.
• Terrain displacement map. The terrain stays the same number of polygons, this just makes it look less flat. Does not impact framerate a lot.
• Shadows Resolution/Range. Anything more than "high" will crash the game often. Does not impact framerate a lot.
• Model Detail, Indirect Lighting, Refraction have an HEAVY impact on stability, anything above lowest *will* crash game often.
• Texture details. Not enough memory to raise.
• Foliage animation. Eats a lot of frames, not worth it.
• Raytracing... not on a Steam Deck.
