This is my first train so sorry for it not being very good.

To start it first turn on the main power found behind the right side seat.
Next start the engine found about the main power.
After starting the engine turn on master slave even if it is the only locomotive.
Turn off the emergency breaks.
Then press the up arrow named "Forward" and turn on the lights.
Make sure to type 440 into the keypad to switch tracks.
Pantograph is optional but doesn't do anything.
