Most Importantly, if the only thing you do each day.

Make sure you are connected to the internet - Collect your BLUE chest!

It will be located somewhere in your Valley and will award you 50 Moonstones. It isn't much, but if you play every day and it only takes a minute to get, it'll add up.

Secondly and not as important, a GREEN chest will appear in your Valley, which contains a few hundred Star Coins or Furniture / Clothing bags.


That's Two chests per day, just for playing the game.

Daily discussions are limited to one per character per day but offer a large friendship gain.

Favorite gifts change each day and you can only give each of the three gifts once to receive the full Relationship benefit but are the quickest way to level up friendships.

You can give as many gifts as you want per day, there seems to be no limit.

The more valuable the gift, the larger the friendship gain. Lobster Rolls make great gifts, if you can afford to spare them.

Make sure to collect your own planted Crops, Harvest fruit trees and bushes.

Moana's Fishing Boat

• At Max Level (9) can store 20 fish.

• Once per day, sometime in the afternoon he will provide 2 new blueprints for sale on his blueprint desk in his house.

Goofy rotates his inventory at each of his stalls daily.

Check your Critters tab on the Collection page, many Critters rotate throughout the day. You may be able to feed more than 2 of each critter each day.

Feeding Critters is currently the only way of obtaining Motif Bags, also a great way to earn shards.

Each day the Valley respawns in each Biome it's native Debris, removing these yields resources:

• Rocks - Stone

• Ice - Snow
  
• Night Thorns. - Star Coins, Shards, Seeds and Furniture and Clothing Bags.
  
• Glowing Dig Spots - Night and Dream Shards.

Yellow Chests

• Occasionally some debris will respawn larger and with a Yellow Chest within them, upon clearing the debris the chest will spawn nearby.
  
  
• Once per day when clearing respawning debris you may spawn multiple Shining Star Coins and countdown music will start, collect all the coins in time and it'll also spawn a Yellow Chest at the location of the last coin you collected.
  
  
• These chests more often than not contain a few hundred Star Coins but can also contain Clothing and Furniture bags.

Scrooge McDuck rotates his inventory daily and the higher the level of his store, the more stuff he will be selling.

At Max Level he will have:

Two rounded tables downstairs with Four small items each - One clothing, the other furniture.
Two square displays downstairs - One with 3 clothing items, One with 4 furniture items.
Two window mannequins - Often full costumes/dresses.
Two medium displays upstairs - Two medium sized items each, or one large item.
One Large display upstairs - 4 Hanging lights or one large item.

Your daily catalog order limit also resets allowing you to purchase up to 25 items, which are delivered directly into your storage.

Each Character can be found at Chez Remy throughout the day.

They supposedly have their own schedules of when they will go each day but if you do serve them the food they order, you will get a very large friendship gain, the same, if not more than their Favorite Gift gains.

It's best to check often as I don't know the hours each character will visit.

Seaweed

Can be obtained by fishing in any water that currently doesn't have fishing bubbles, snags like a fish but catches instantly, no minigame.


Fugu

If at any time you are playing during a Thunderstorm it is advised that you take a fishing companion with you to Dazzle Beach and attempt to catch the Fugu fish which can only be caught during a thunderstorm, not just rain, but a thunderstorm.

Weather is unpredictable and for future proofing, it might be best to make sure you have some Fugu in storage for any Favourite Gifts or Quests that might require it.

Kingfish

By far the most elusive fish for me to catch, seems to have a pretty low spawn rate. Currently can be found in Blue fishing bubbles in Sunny weather.

After unlocking all Realms and Biomes there is currently no benefit to grinding these out other than being a completionist. Most of these will take a while to complete and aren't vital to anything in Early Access, and some are bugged or unobtainable at this stage of the game, but for those who are interested, this is for you.

Tasks requiring you to collect a certain number of items, eg. Harvest Apples are best done with a companion that is allocated to that skill, this increases your chance to receive extra resources, that being said resources found by your companion DON'T count towards your task, but will be beneficial towards Cooking tasks and Selling tasks.

Additionally, when gathering you will often collect an item that will star sparkling golden, these can be collected continuously till the sparkling effect wears off, this DOES count towards your tasks so spam that button every time to fully maximize the benefit.

Feed each species their Liked or Favorite food to complete these. As you can only feed each critter once per day I'd highly recommend feeding them their favorite food each time to complete both tasks simultaneously.

Same as above but only counts if you feed them their Favorite food, refer to above.

Ravens are currently Not implemented so their tasks are unable to be completed.

Max level requires 3k fruit to be harvested. Companion obtained items do NOT count towards this.
Gold Sparkling allow the same bush/tree to be collected multiple times and DOES count towards this.

Easily Obtained after unlocking all biomes.

Each Fruit and Spice task requires you to collect a massive 900 each for max level. Each fruit tree and bush have their own respawn times, it's recommended that you group them all together for ease of collection.

Spices respawn a lot slower and will take a lot longer to complete.

These respawn daily, no quick way of completing this task.

Sell Fruit

Max level requires you to sell 3k fruit. Best to do this after completing all the Dreamlight Cooking Tasks.

Max level requires you to buy 645 seeds from each Goofy stall. You will most likely complete these when attempting the other tasks.

Self explanatory, max level requires you to have planted 4.5k vegetables.

Also self explanatory, max level requires you to have watered 7.7k Vegetables.
Take into consideration that if it is Raining, that will water your crops and you won't get the points for it. All crops need to be watered at least once, crops with longer grow times need to be rewatered multiple times.

Max level needs 4.5k Vegetables

After building all of Goofy's Stalls you will have access to all 16 seeds, grow them all at least once to complete this.

Max level requires you to have sold at least 1.5k vegetables, I'd advise against completing this until you finish all the Cooking tasks.

These tasks will take a long time to complete, max level is 260 fish in each biome.
Currently there are no fishing bubbles inside Sunlit Plateau but fish can be caught just by throwing your line in the water, because of seaweed this slows progress.

Catch Fish

Max level requires you to catch 1.8k fish in total, will be completed by the time you complete the biome tasks.

Max level requires 260 seafood to have been caught. Fishing in Dazzle Beach will slowly complete this one.

Seems to be currently bugged as after hitting 100 it didn't unlock.
Complete the fishing minigame without failing to complete.

Currently unable to complete as the Walleye fish doesn't spawn. Fugu and Kingfish will be the harder fish to obtain.

Max level requires you to sell 600 fish, I'd recommend doing this after completing the Cooking tasks.

Max level requires you to cook 150 for each type of meal.

Max level requires you to have earnt 1.8M Star Coins. This will unlock as you complete tasks.

Max level requires you to get your relationship with 1, 5 and 10 characters to level 10.

Unobtainable as there are currently only 17 characters in the game.

Max level requires you to be Best Friends with 15 characters.

Max level requires you to have taken 50 photos, you will almost complete this just by getting your characters to level 10 and completing their tasks.

Have daily discussions with the Characters every day, can only done once per day, per character so max is 17 points a day.

Max level requires you to gift characters with 540 gifts. Gifts can be given an unlimited amount so you can just keep gifting.

Max level requires you to gift villagers their favorite gifts 180 times. 3 gifts, 17 characters, you can max out 51 Favorite gifts per day.

Purchase all 3 upgrades for your house.

Purchase all 3 upgrades for Remy's Restaurant.

Purchase both upgrades for Scrooge's Store.

Purchase all 9 upgrades.

Purchase all 9 upgrades.

Using dreamlight to unlock new biomes will complete this task.

Fix Each of Goofy's Stalls in each biome.

Unable to complete as there aren't enough Character homes to repair yet.

Add rooms to your house using the elevator inside your house.

Max level requires you to have completed a staggering 1.1k duties, thankfully you can work on 6 at a time. These duties also work towards tasks you're already working on, two birds, one stone.
