When farming Master Writs for gold you'll want to find the best Writ to Gold ratio.

Usually, this is a choice between static items such as attunable stations (250 master writ tickets) from Rolis Hlaalu in Stormhaven which, generally speaking, never seem to increase much in price however act as a safe bet as they sell easily enough.

Non-static items such as the furnishing documents from Faustina Curio in Stormhaven tend to reap more rewards as there's risk involved, but they sell for far less writs than the static items.

I've found that you'll generally want the Morrowind Master Furnisher's Document (50 master writ tickets) as this gives the best ticket to gold ratio as the Morrowind furnishing plans are less in demand than the other counterparts due to the age of the expansion.

These furnishing plans in particular tend to sell for around 80k each and at 50 master writs per plan you can earn 5 for the 1 attunable station you could buy. That's a potential gold income of 400k. Whereas the attuable stations (as of Sep 12th 2022) are selling for 250k each on PC, EU.
