1) Bishops don't get stronger from the number of loops you do in the dungeon.
2) there is a small table with another buyable taro card draw near the guy who gives one for free. It does recharge BUT it recharges OVER time and if you look closer you can see small red circle above it. So if you want to draw another card, just wait long enough.
So. I had glass cannon fleese, was angry with crappy drops so started my run with god dagger and 3 damage demons and a crappy curse.
Was trying to find that 5 charges homing curse, didn't find it first world so i looped into the second run while farming those taro cards with more curse damage and fevore and found +30% damage at night and after that looped into the third and to my suprice found damage imunnity curse.
Broke Kalamar's idol, waited till the night so get the damage bonus aand..
Well.. 3 frantic casts of imunity and mad clicking and kalamar was no more.
in combination with the Divine Guardian curse (2s of invincibility, deflects projectile damage) and you have a demon that increases fervour, then you just cannot lose. This build is especially helpful against Kallamar, but I think it should allow you to cheese any Bishop you want. All you need is to get invincibility at the beginning of your crusade.
Leshy - I did on my first try before realizing there was an achievement.
Heket - First try with no demons or cloak benefits because I had no idea.
Kallamar - Took me about 12 tries. I think my strong desire to get 100% by that point and understanding more about the game made my brain not want to let me get it.
Shamura - Was about 5 tries and oddly I did it on the one where I had 0% damage buff, and crummy cards, but I did have a godly axe.
but thank you! after accidentally killing kallamar without being hit, I'm motivated to take on the final bosses.
