The real Dunkin's not the same any longer. They were once a local chain here in New England and had really awesome donuts and coffee. They made their donuts daily at each location and some had a window where you could watch the chef make them.
Today, the donuts are made "somewhere" and are trucked into the various locations. They are made of vinyl and the coffee is blah. In the olden days, you could get a decent hot cup of coffee but today it's not the same. So much for progress.
The problem is Bane Capital bought them. Hedge fund companies are nasty.
Mister Donuts was a direct arch rival and competitor to Dunkin Donuts. I think the two were related and Mister Donuts split. Joining them together is truly unfathomable because their coffee and donuts were a world apart.
