I Wish I Was Kaiju. Creation started December 19th, 2019.

As of writing this on March 29th, 2020, it has been really hard to write something about this album. I can say that this album has had the most effort I have put into an album so far. In a way, ideas for this album started back in September, 2019. I distinctly remember that the title was gonna be "Album Cover For a Nonexistant Album". That album was instantly scrapped after the creation of the first track.

During my December project, the album title "I Wish I Was Kaiju" was brought up as a joke in a conversation online, as like a reference towards Giantism. I liked the sentence so much, I decided it would be a good album title. This is what I call the actual first version of this album. Four tracks were made, but three of them didn't make it. There are two reasons. One of them is that it just didn't really fit the sound I was going for. The other was because two of them talked about some struggles I had with my mother, and after the creation of those two tracks, it was already outdated on what I was feeling. I apologize if you're reading this, mom.

Before this current version, I was attempting on a different project, which was gonna be acoustic only. The only thing left of that project is a song, and a screenshot of the album cover as well as its title (because I was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb and I didn't save the album cover).

So now, we have this version. Kowloon Walled City was the first track I recorded in the album, and it uses alot of ideas from the never-started album from September, and it kinda grew like a tree from there.

I decided to make this album different from the rest of my discography in alot of really small ways. This is the first album of my catalog that doesn't include any piano (unless you count electronic synths, which is a big dum dum of you), and also the first album without any real drums. The percussion was actually me using my drumsticks against my desk. This is also an album you can play forwards or backwards order. That is why both Angel In The Forest tracks aren't just simply called "Part 1", or "Part 2". I know it is a very small thing, but I think it is rather interesting :3.

This album is about a lot of things. The main focus on this album is looking back on my Discography, hence why there is recreations of tracks like Balloon Boy, and Angel In The Forest. I have expressed this alot, ever since the release of Dear Grandma, that I sometimes have SEVERE distaste on alot of my albums. One of them being Acoustic Unfinished Full of Love.
