1. Important to note that some mods are not currently compatible with the current version of tmodloader. Pay attention to the last time a specific mod was updated and make sure to check the comment section to see if other people are having issues with the mod. If you still aren't sure then download it and test the mod yourself on a new character in a new world to see if its stable on your version of tmodloader.

2. Be careful with multiple new difficulties or mods that change enemy behavior in any way because they will likely cause issues somewhere along the line. Most notably calamity's death mode + fargo's eternity mode makes golem invincible for example.

3. Last thing to pay close attention to is map generation as multiple new biomes can result in one or the other not generating at all and that is obviously not ideal in any scenario.
