How to change the different types ?
You will always need a shovel.
Can purchase the Shovel from John's Goods


Paths
For all the paths, you just have to put them on the floor like this :
Hop, I'm done ! You can remove them with a pickaxe or shovel.


Natural soils
For all natural soils, recovered the soil wanted with a shovel...



Place the soil on the floor, repeat the process and here you go.

The result with only one shovel of mud.
Paths / Previews

There are 7 different paths :
Brick, Cement, Palm Wood, Rock, Gum Wood, Hard Wood, Iron Path.


But since the update of October 7, 2022, there are 15 different paths :
Rock Edge Path, Patern Stone Path, Cobble Stone Path, Cobblestone Road, Cobblestone Road Lines, Honey Comb Path, Mushroom Path, Pearl Path.
(A big update, with big names haha)

(This one is special, it depends on the direction you look)

There are also 4 different natural soils :
Dirt , Sand , Mud , Red sand.


Dirt :
Tropics , Bushland , Pine Forest , Plains.

Sand :
Beach , Oceans.

Mud :
Mangroves.

Red sand :
Desert.
How to have any soil in infinity ?
To recover soils to infinity, it will be necessary to dig below 6 depths of the sea level.

Mmh well, I filled a lot of wheelbarrows, but that was just an example haha !

If you have too much soil, you can break your wheelbarrow to recover it empty.

To backfill made upside down, 6 from sea level, if you have no more you can dig to backfill.


It also works with any type of soil ! Here is an example using mud.

There are new floor textures in the latest update. See the decorations page on the Fandom Dinkum wiki. Some of these apply nice wall textures to the blocks below too.

- Rock Edge Path
- Pattern Stone Path (makes a nice stone wall)
- Honey Comb Path
- Mushroom Path (neon!)
- Pearl Path
- Cobblestone Path
- Cobblestone Road (asphalt!)
- Cobblestone Road lines

The blueprint for each is a possible reward from NPC jobs, Pictures of each could be a nice addition to this guide.
