Just like the way the world wide web has changed for us, the PPP (Public Progress Plexus) is divided into different sections based on what span of time that OS is from.

Because of how old Progressbar 1, 2, 3.14 and PB-DOS is, they don't have internet connection and therefore you cannot use a browser in those OS

First Era
Windows/ProgressBar: Progressbar 95 - Whisper

The first era is akin to the mid-90s design. Because of this, any OS from this era requires a dial-up connection which is the slowest connection out of all 3, this is the same for the E-Mail menu.

Second Era

The second era is around the early 2000s, and the design resembles that, this is the era that introduces Ethernet, so say goodbye to dial-up! This is also the first era that introduces both Bad Cookies and PBook, which I will discuss later.

Third Era

The final era resembles modern day design, simplicity. It adds the feature to 'ring the bell' on websites, which gives you points, this feature and cookies both need confirmation in order to accept them.

All of these collectible things are located on the top left underneath the address bar and I will be discussing about everything from left to right


Cookies appear at the top right inside the address bar (in order for them to appear in the 3rd Era you must click accept on the pop-up that asks if you would like the website to have cookies)

There are 3 types of cookies:

• Light Brown - Normal cookie, you get one cookie for clicking this cookie
  
• Dark Brown - Chocolate Cookie! you get two cookies for clicking on this one
  
• (from 2nd Era Onward) Blue/Cyan - Bad Cookie! you lose a cookie for clicking on this one

On Dog websites (A cute website about dogs), sometimes there is a button that allows you to give the dog a cookie, doing this subtracts a cookie from your cookie count but gives you a bonus from the dog on your next level of progressbar95.

Each cookie gives you 5 points.

Asterisks are the only collectible that doesn't give you points, you use these to unlock bonuses that require you to log on

It requires 10 asterisks to access the treasure website from Searcharoo
It requires 3 asterisks to log onto a website

These can be lost from a malicious site (when you run out of time) or a suspicious website that has a one asterisk login.

Memes are magenta boxes with impact font that says Meme, you can find them randomly on websites and have no use in browsing

Each meme gives you 5 points.

This is your main source of income from browsing progress browser
This is a numerical value that increases as you keep browsing

You can obtain Browser Points by

• going to another website
  
• clicking on a bonus button
  
• Closing pop-ups (annoying pop-up, Etc.)
  
• (3rd Era) Ringing the bell
  
• (2nd Era onward) Activities in PBook
  
• favoriting websites

The number of points you get from these activities is varied.

This is the red site that pops up with a timer, in order to stop the malicious program, you must scroll to the bottom in order to find a deactivate button

What happens when the timer goes down?, Plain and simple, you lose your browser points, cookies, memes, and asterisks

Side Notes:
-There is sometimes a bug (a red ladybug) that can be obtained for a crisp +2500 points, but the timer still ticks down
-Clicking any hyperlinks will count as the timer going down, meaning you lose everything
-Sometimes a magic hyperlink appears on this site don't click it. just like clicking on the unknown hyperlink, you will lose everything
-there will always be 3 bonus point buttons at the bottom with the deactivate button, however this goes away once you hit deactivate (same with the cookies, magic hyperlinks and any bugs you encounter on this site)
-Someone has let me know in the comments that pressing back also allows you to escape malicious sites

This is an orange or yellow site that boldly says !hello! and that its totally not a suspicious site.

There will (sometimes) be a single asterisk login button, don't sign into it. You will lose all your asterisks.

The take a cookie button does nothing.

This contains 4 hyperlinks

contains randomly placed images and null/bonus buttons

Occasionally has a 'give the dog a cookie' button, clicking it subtracts a cookie but gives you a dog bonus

These all don't really have anything specific about them, just websites about different things

This is a dead-end site, meaning you have to back track if you want to continue going through websites. sometimes this site would have an unknown hyperlink, but often times they lead to another Under Construction website

These ones are easy, there are 3 sliders, and 3 values, the numbers/hex values you need to match are inside the square, and if it helps, the outline color is what the color should be the same color as the middle box

The only one confusing is the web-design 3.0 puzzles, you must give the RGB number values while the puzzle gives you HEX values, my best advice is to find a hex to rgb converted.

These are all once-a-day bonus sites that give you a fair amount of cookies and browser points, some of them even have different visuals depending on the era you view them in.

While on Searcharoo if you hit back you get a bonus collectible website with bonus points

This website can only be accessed if you log into a website with three asterisks

On the Searcharoo website, there is a ten asterisk login, logging into that gives you 4 bonus buttons to plunder

Rarely you will find a link called a magic hyperlink, this takes you to a magic website with a bonus
If you find this magic hyperlink on a malicious site, don't click it, you will lose everything.

There is a policy section of Searcharoo, scrolling down all the way to the bottom reveals a bonus

Pbook has a few things that you could do
-Report trolls with the red report button for 50 points
-like comments and statuses (even your own) for 5 points
-click on your heart/comments notification for points (when its red) on the top right
-post a status from the list of premade statuses

When you do things like defeat system 32, obtain 95%, obtain an achievement, or even get a perfect bar, your profile will post, so be sure to check after a while.
