Step 1: make a new character(any class) and any gift from there continue the game how you would until right after gundyr. from there(this part is optional but will help) if you can do jump of the tree and obtain the snek ring through a hidden wall near the birds.If you haven't already killed the big crystal lizard and the sword master then kill them. Then head to high wall of Lothric area from there continue the area and kill the mimic with the deep axe from there get the next bonfire.

Now you need to kill vordt so from that bonfire head to the shortcut grabbing whatever you need along the way. After opening the shortcut Murder Vordt After vordt has been slain go get Yoel get a level from them in Firelink. Then from the first bonfire in Undead settlement(not the undead settlement bonfire) and throw yourself in a hole 15 times while picking up your souls each time you die. After get 4 more levels from Yoel and quit and reload your game.Then Yuria of londor will arrive and sell you the Dark Hand.Then buy the dark hand if you can if you cant then kill the big tree in undead settlement. Now that you have the dark hand you are technically done with this guide but if you want to know how to make your dark hand stronger than continue with the guide.

Now to add damage to this character we need to head to the road of sacrifices and kill the sage with your new found power.Once the sage is dead continue into the Cathedral of the deep and grab the paladins ashes and then get the lloyd's sword ring and use that but if you want more defense i would suggest buying lloyd's shield ring thats about it for damage unless you want to use miracles the miracles you would want are deep protection and sacred oath.

Now for the last part to reach a spot to get a armor set that absolutely works with dark hand you need to go to The halfway fortress bonfire or Crucifixion woods bonfire from there head towards the land past water that has a ladder. go down that ladder to reach poison swamp from there go from the piece of land to piece of land and extinguish the 3 fires and go through the door it opens to find Darkwraiths. kill the Darkwraiths until they drop there full armor set there is a bonfire nearby to farm from.( i will eventually get the head peace)
