Legend of the Starting Traits Fishing King

Welcome back, commanders! If you used this mod in Total War: Warhammer 2, then you know what the deal is. For everyone else, read on:


Some people tend to restart a campaign until one of that faction's starting characters has a good trait. This mod increases the chances that your favorite starter hero will have a good trait by a certain percentage. The numbers don't lie: instead of having to restart a campaign 20 times, at best you'll only have to restart 19 times.




* = This trait will only be considered if you're using my Storm of Derp mod.


Yes, this mod makes your favorite starting heroes immortal. But if you disband a hero, that's it. They're gone. It doesn't matter whether you have this mod. Disband Vlad von Carstein? Gone. Disband Isabella von Carstein? Gone. Don't disband a hero unless you want to get rid of them permanently!



Mikaela came all the way from Caledor to the middle of fudging nowhere and all she got for her trouble is Imrik making eyes at Meow Ying. Her rage is incandescent.



u/Grace_CA was the best community manager CA ever had, and we miss her. She's got a banhammer that works wonders against trolls... but she also proved that she don't give a flying fudge about Gobbla, so squigs die to a single shot in any battle she takes part in.



If you would like any changes made to this mod, then you need to tell a story, and you better make it good.

I play X faction which starts with Y hero, and I really hope that hero gets Z trait.

or

I play X faction which starts with Y hero, and I really think that hero should be immortal.

If the starting hero isn't a named hero, then I don't care. This mod is for starting heroes only.

If you complain that a preferred starting trait should get a better than 5% boost, then the chance of your suggestion getting incorporated drastic go down.



This mod is partially save-game compatible:

• With the exception of Grace's character, all other changes only take effect in a new campaign.
  
• You can activate this mod anytime, but do not de-activate it unless you're going to start a new campaign!

This mod should be compatible with everything, however if you ask "Is it compatible with X?" the answer is "I have not tested it with X, therefore I do not know." Also if you ask that question without testing it yourself, I will probably mute you.

This mod is fully compatible with ChaosRobie's The Old World Campaign.
