Monsoon's way to thing actually exist and its called nihilism, nihilism isn't a religion, its just a philophical idealism that is basically the belief in nothing, what that means is that nothing that we think or act came from ourselfes. "Expose someone to anger enough and they will learn how to hate" what Monsoon said was that your actions (or way to think) aways come from another person or an event, as an example when someone says that the earth is flat and you convince that person that the earth is round, congrats you just passed a meme to another person. So in a more simple way, memes are a way to think or act.

So we already understood that memes are ideals, a way to think or act. But what are Monsoon's memes? what are his ideals? Before we talk about that first we need to understand Monsoon history. Monsoon was born in 1970s Cambodia. In that time the only way to survive was to fight even when you were a child or else you die. By this reason Monsoon never had parents, never had someone who could pass him memes, and this is proved in Sam's DLC when he says "Nature is just nature, not beautiful, not ugly" because noone told him that nature is beautiful. By surviving in the war for years, his contry passed him his one and only meme, the meme of survival "The strong prey on the weak" was the only meme that was passed to Monsoon. That meme was, after his death, passed to Raiden. A meme that helped him defeat armstrong in the final bossfight
