Detective Vance receives another call from Ravenhorst.
Something mysterious happened, people have gone missing, even Combine.
Recently contact has been lost completely.

It starts out strong and I really wanted to love this one. Ammo in the right places, instead of wherever. Voice-acting and use of AI voicing (which needed to have some pauses, but otherwise interesting). So, there's a story and everything.

Ultimately though, it boils down to enemy management. Some of encounters are such bullshit that it's more or less seeing them, dying, reloading, rinse and repeat until you get lucky enough to save again. That's not a fun game. It's bullshit.

Loved that this map/mod was in black and white...it just FITs! Beautiful "hooks" into the original Havenhurst (the twirling blade device, for instance). Finally, the ending of the horrible monster at the end. What a surprise that was! Many thanks for the work you put into building this map/mod. I really enjoyed playing it.

Hi there! Thank you all so much for playing my map

I have just made a larger update to fix some issues and round it up a bit.
Combine fights should feel more intense, gave it more hints and the card is easier to find.
Enjoy and take it easy

A different cool mod! Found the card, the "Creature" is awesome. Had great fun and sweat on the forehead

I'll be honest, I never found the keycard. I just stacked boxes until I could jump over the force field and went about my way... which of course made a hilarious adventure on the way back (jumping from covered boxes to gazebo roof to window actually got me inside to turn it off on the way back, and had a combine kick open the door to let me escape, haha).
Hard combat, but gotta give you props for Jeff, even if it came out of nowhere in a somewhat serious story. I really enjoyed it.

Fun map after you found the freaking key.

The combine you cannot see is the one at the top on last room.

Fun time! Felt very atmospheric at the start, the voice acting really helped with this. I also liked the environmental puzzles. the combat was challenging but didn't feel impossible.

I had the same issue as vincent_g where the elevator would go up but not down, had to use dev teleport to finish the map. No issues other than that. Jeff with a minigun is terrifying XD

Seems the elevator is ok this time when I played it.
Maybe a reboot fixed the problem?
The rotating fan blade from Half Life was a nice touch.
