Adding the Launch Argument
After installing, click "Properties" to open the configuration menu.



Add the following text in the "Launch Options" box;
-provider Portal



This will load the standard launcher instead of the Steam launcher, and allow you to sign in with your existing account details.

why would you go through the trouble of downloading addons for that... it's a basic ass command that you put in once and that's it, never touch it again.... dumb ass comment @IL FENOMENO

Just instal nexus addon and u have there luncher addon u dont need to put nothing in launch options

This should have a massive warning added to it that you cannot buy expansions on steam if you do this, and if you do, your money is lost, no refunds, you just wasted it.

DONT BUY DLCS on STEAM if you use this guide, just buy your dlc INGAME.

just please remember that if you do this you can't buy expansions through steam

Yes you can delete standalone if installed thru steam using this.

If I delete the standalone (internet) version, will I still have access to my DLCs from the standalone?

i´ve done that and i did a mistake byuing a expasion trought steam. is possible to get the serial code and redeem it or i just lost money?
