What I think would be needed is a check box in the main menu mods page, where one could select individual world mods as default for new worlds, to make them as "comfortable" as app mods.
I have a nagging suspicion that not having a one-click game start is too demanding for many users out there...
I opened an issue for Dave to take a look: https://github.com/Majic-Jungle/sapiens-mod-creation/issues/17
The issue with making 'style' mods like these 'world only' is that it can be fairly annoying for users to constantly be toggling it on. But you're correct that they offer more granularity!
I think the big question is: Why do app mods even exist, when people will want per-world settings anyways?
Consider making it so by default? Makes so much more sense IMO,
1) Download my mod from github directly: https://github.com/SirLich/sapiens-hairstyles
2) Edit the `config.json` file to say `world` instead of `app`
3) Place your mod into %AppData%\majicjungle\sapiens\mods
Then you can select per-world, instead of for the whole application.
