Lot of people say this game is torturous, uncomfortable, agonizing. Its not its quite fair and full of strategy. Altho, when you get to the Abbaitor it does become these things, and not in a good way.

The thing that is extremely difficult about the Abbaitor isn't the worms, or the gameplay. You can look at a different guide for that or ask around its not hard to kill all the worms. That is basically the gameplay guide to the abbaitor just kill all the worms. Its not difficult at all especially with the menku finger. So I'm not covering that.

What is difficult is the heart chamber, because jumping into the chamber can RANDOMLY kill you, or not. And dying in Pathologic 2 SUCKS! You don't want to die. But this segment forces a death on you randomly and seriously needs to be patched. This guide I'm making will hopefully be obsolete in time because they will HOPEFULLY patch this terrible glitch.

I died 5 times trying to jump into the heart chamber legit. Don't take this chance especially if you been playin the game the whole time legit. You're gonna have to swallow your legit pride for now, and enter the console cheats and activate god mode. I know it sucks but the game doesn't punish you in any way for using them and its not a difficulty slider and do you really want to take a gamble death? There is no other choice. Just consider it not cheating just fixing a terrible glitch.

In order to get through the chamber successfully you will have to do this, you can just activate god mode at the start if you want and punch and stab your way through the worms. Or you can do the legit gameplay and get to the alter at the end then enter the invincibility. You should also grab the living blood on the way just to be safe I think you may or may not need it for some of the achievements. You only need the invincibility to survive the heart chamber jump nothing more so its your choice if you wanna do this segment legit.

First when you want to enter the invincibility press control+shift+F4. Enter these commands in the section labeled inspector.
Now what you will want to do is activate the screenshots I have highlighted in the guide.

Expand the IsImmortal (ParameterValue<bool>) and then expand the Parameter (BoolParameter : Immortal | False). Click the box labelled Value, which should then change Immortal | False to Immortal | True.






Now just tick the box that says immortal.




After its activated you can jump into the heartchamber.

Once you find the heart do not talk to it yet.

Open up the inspector menu again and follow the following screenshots.

Ignore this step if you are already infected.





You may also need to infect yourself if the inspector isn't working right, you can do this with rotten food with this code in the console command.


Reason I put the inspector line is cause I found the rotten food to be unreliable but the inspector sometimes doesn't work either. Both methods are very iffy it could be easier just to infect yourself before entering the Abbaitor. I finally managed to get the big heart achievement while invincible by activating the infection through the first method through inspector. This all took me close to 6 or 7 tries. Yes its that irritating.

Once you have activated infection, it should be red text under immunity/infection meter. Now you can talk to the heart (do not talk to heart unless your infection is red). When given the choices, answer with the heart is the town, nothing else. The heart will say yes. And boom you should be cured of your self administered infection and achievement should pop.

Now take the path out of the chamber until you see a ladder, climb up and out and you will be in the well building young vlad stayed at. Leave this area and head to a bed, such as at your hideout. Rest for some hours and a dream will take place. You will talk to the albinos (the toy that haruspex talked to in the turtorial). Simply give them all labels and names, there are 4 of them, I think you only have to label 3 you should get the achievement after labeling them.

Dream on achievement

The dream on achievement is connected to the Abbatoir dream, and a few other dreams. One in particular can be easily missed, the termitary dream. You will have to make immunity vaccines before or around the 5th/6th day. In order to do this combine an infected organ with a tincture. Pretty simple just look for infected and kill em and harvest the organs. They are literally everywhere and people are killing them anyway. So you might not even have to kill one. Just find infected organs that's all you need to do. Tinctures are easy to make, water and 2 different kinda herbs are all you need. You will need to make 3 immunity vaccines. You will need 3 infected organs and enough water and herbs to make 3 tinctures. Once you see the termitary dream, only optional dream left is the murky one. Simply let murky die or be taken by the plague. It happens during a quest with murky so on the playthrough be sure to pay attention to murky and tell her you want to meet her friend. Eventually she will want to meet you at an ascribed location. Go there, talk to the changeling and whatever you do, do not accept to be infected by the plague. Deny the plague and it will go after murky instead and she will die. Then you will get the dream sequence later.

After that you should get dream on after doing the painful abbaitor sequence and seeing the last dream.

And that's it, how to get all the abbaitor achievements associated with this horrible segment. Its majorly painful and has nothing to do with the worms or the gameplay but this glitched leap of faith. Hope this guide helps.
