Introduction








Razor is a Late game carry that is also very formidable early game due to his powerful nuking ability and damage stealing ability.

Razor is very effective in solo combat. He can drain high damage from any hero, and use it as his own. He is also efficient in clashes, draining damage from heroes while simultaneously attacking them with his ulti and his nuking ability.

In this guide i will be showing you the basics, builds, and heroes that razor is extremely effective defeating (such as lifestealer).
Razor Carry style gameplay
Razor is extremely powerful. Especially if you wanna have a high dps hero.

Early game do your best in getting the last hits. And always harrass your enemy. Be smart though.

Whenever it comes to gank, do your best in timing the Plasma Field perfectly for maximum effect. And dont spam it on creeps until your level 8.

In clashes, quickly use your ulti. Then your first skill. Use your 2nd on the most powerful hero on the enemy team, so he/she will have less damage. Increasing the chances of survivability on your team.

Nver be afraid of going greedy. Just be smart though.
Item Build
1st Items:

These should be the first thing that you should buy.

Early Game:

Build the threads first. Start of with the belt of strength. After that build the S&Y (Sange and Yasha). Build the Yasha before the Sange.

Mid Game:

Build the Shadow Blade first. Start with the Sword. Then the Amulet. After that, build the Desolator.

Late Game:

It depends on you on what you will build first. If you need health, build the heart. If you want more DPS, build the butterfly.

Situational Items:

You can buy these items whenever you want. Buy the BKB if your against spellcasters and stunners (such as invoker, silencer, tiny, etc). Or buy the Manta for multiple DPS. Or you can buy both.

Description
Plsama Field is Razor's only nuking abilty. This skill is extremely effective at all points of the game, especially since that it provides double damage to running heroes. The first damage is the wave the expands, the 2nd one is the wave that returns to razor. It has a 795 radius. And a minimum of 60 to 160 damage on level 1. Making it one of the most powerful nukes early in the game if timed properly
Static Link is Razor's most important skill. It drains damage from enemy heroes and making it his. For example, Lifestealer has a damage of 300. When Razor static links to Lifestealer, he drains the 300 damage. A mininum of 7 damage at level one. If Static link is at a high level, he can drain the entire 300 damage in a few seconds and use it against his enemies. Weakening them and making Razor stronger at the same time.
Unstable Current is Razor's counter skill. Any attacks/spells placed on Razor will be instantly countered with jolt of electricity, damaging, slowing and increasing his speed at the same time. The increased speed is permanent.
Eye of the Storm is Razor's Ultimate. Eye of the Storm targets any evemy units and attacks them simultaneously. The interval between attacks depends on the current level of the skill. Eye of the Storm targets the lowest health within the radius first. Effective for KS (kill steal) against other heroes. It also at the same time, removes 1 armor everystrike. It's like having an attacking assault cuirrass.

Remarks/Techniques:
The Invisible Ultimate Technique:

Once you have shadow blade (lothars), use your ulti, then use the shadow blade. You are invisible BUT your ulti is attacking enemy heroes/units. Extremely useful in hunting while avoiding damage.

Razor is EFFECTIVE AGAINST ALL HIGH DPS HEROES. Just drain their damage, and turn on your ulti. Razor is the best counter against Lifestealer. Because even with Lifestealer's magic immunity skill, Razor can still drain his damage. Plus Razor isnt a strength type hero.

Razor is fun, easy, and effective. Just keep on playing and practicing. Hope my guide helps and thank you for your time.

you're a braindead idiot if you think razor is actually a lategame carry. He needs about 30k gold of items to compete with 15k worth on a hardcarry.

Waste of money. why settle for +1 attributes and +2 armor?
