I started my 3rd epic run this way, cheesing him with tablets and taking his wand drop. It's an amazing wand to start a run with! But I don't usually start runs this way. It doesn't feel... honourable, lol.


Technique:

You just stand to the left of the altar, wait for him to approach the top of the hill to your left, then quickly run to the right of the altar and drop the tablet on top of yourself. It messes up his pathfinding, and he ends up going in your general direction and getting stuck at the bottom-left of the altar. His body can erase solid matter, but he stops in the area. He then proceeds to shoot in your direction while standing there. Doesn't always line up, but when it does, his purple shots hit the altar brickwork and damage him. Takes a long time waiting for him to kill himself, usually 5-10 minutes. Depends on how well lined-up it is, and how often he decides to actually shoot those purple exploding shots.

He is immune to tablets, but you can cheese him with the tablets and kill him by letting his attacks hit himself (the explosions from his wands). Does he actually die to tablet kicking? I never tried because I assumed he would be immune

Don't underestimate how much paper cuts can hurt.
