This mod is an addon_hookup which means you can add it to any dashboard slot on your truck, this should also work on any custom trucks like Scania RJL + Ford F-Max

Drivers plate isn't a dashboard item.
You need something like a table with addon slots on it.

Some trucks only have this with DLC, Such as Mighty Griffin for Scania Tables

the only thing i can see on dashboard is drivers plate do i need an extra mod for more dashboard slots?

You sure you activated the mod?
It's only available for dashboard addon slots
Try another slot if you can't find it
