This mod is an addon_hookup which means you can add it to any dashboard slot on your truck, this should also work on any custom trucks like Scania RJL + Ford F-Max

Drivers plate isn't a dashboard item.
You need something like a table with addon slots on it.

Some trucks only have this with DLC, Such as Mighty Griffin for Scania Tables

It's only available for dashboard addon slots
Try another slot if you can't find it
