The probability is a setting you can enable in the Mod Options.

I've taken a look at the HUD sub-mod from Monster Sauce QOL and I'm afraid that the way the info cards is implemented means they are throwing away all other tooltip manipulation, such as what I've done in my mods :(
There's supposed to be a player settings somewhere, if you want to disable the sauce QOL feature from affecting food items. My tooltips work on traps, even with the QOL pack - you may lose functionality such as expiry date information if you don't have a suitable other mod to provide that info.
If it is possible, you can disable the evolved recipe info from Monster Sauce and instead use my Evolved Recipe Tooltips mod.
For now, I'll look at a solution that doesn't require that and works out of the box - I don't have any immediate ideas on why Extra Sauce should kill my tooltip, but you can also try loading my mod first in the load order.
