Description
Briefing:

The 25th Infantry Division has been patrolling close to the Laotian border in search of enemy supply caches. Command has received reliable intel that a small riverside village named 'Lonquy' may be acting as a rendezvous and resupply area for NLF forces. Search the area for any signs of enemy activity, ascertain the disposition of the locals and perform a seek and destroy operation if necessary. You seem to have a knack for finding enemy caches and navigating tunnels, so you are acting as both a rifleman and the de-facto tunnel rat for your platoon.

Intelligence suggests hostile activity in and around the village of Lonquy. We need to get boots on the ground to investigate further. Aerial recon has spotted platoon-sized NLF units moving to and from the area. Analysis indicates a high probability of supply caches or tunnel entrances in the area.

Your main task will be to investigate the village of Lonquy and the area surrounding it for any signs of hostile presence. If the enemy is located then destroy them. You will be moving in with half an infantry platoon plus command element. If you make contact with the enemy supplies and reinforcements will be brought in by helo.

Proceed with your squad to the village of Lonquy. Search for any enemy intel or caches. Follow the orders of your superiors as the situation develops.

theyre kinda needed to get the mission to work/feel right but in retrospect it probably wasnt such a hot idea. a lot of missions i never start making with the intention of uploading to the workshop, but if theyre exceptional then i throw them up there. in the future ill tone it down to a bare minimum.
