How to Repair Armors?

This is the "Armor Repair" guide for vanilla S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl by mark...

We'll be using the "1.0006" version of the game , so don't try to do this trick with outdated pirate versions , i suggest you to use the "Steam" version .

Required Equipments

To do this trick we need 4,5 "Battery" artifacts , more artefacts you wear, the shorter and more effective the process will be . There are 2 artifacts with this name and we can repair our armor with both of them .

I'll be using this "SEVA" suit but it works for every armor .

1) Flame Battery

For the first method we have "Flame Battery" . This artifact spawns in "Burner" anomalies and it gives +30 Burn effect . You can find one of this artifact in "Garbage" near the Duty checkpoint .

Flame Battery

After finding the artifact , wear all of them . It should look like this

Here's our damaged suit . As you can see, it's durability has been reduced by half.

Now we just need to jump into a campfire *Burner anomalies also work too* I'm gonna use the one at the Cordon , Rookie Village .

After jumping into the fire you need to wait at least a minute . Don't worry you won't die since the artifact has +Fire Resistance , and you will see that your armors durability is slightly increasing

2) Electro Battery

For the second method we have "Electro Battery" . This artifact spawns in "Gravitational" anomalies . You can find one of this artifact in Garbage , Near to the Agroprom entrance , inside a Vortex . It gives +30 Electric Shock .

It's the same procces actually but this time we need to find an "Electro" Anomaly
After finding enough artifacts wear all of them

It should look like this

And as you can see the armor is pretty damaged , now we will fix it

I'm gonna use the Electro in the Cordon , inside the Underpass .
After you find it jump directly into it[]

If you look close enough you will see that the durability is increased
After a while it is just as new :)

Which one is better ?

I suggest you to use the "Flame Artifact" method because this artifact is easy to find compared to the Electro one . And even if you find it now you need to find a anomaly . Flame method can be done on both "Burner" anomalies and any fire at all .

LOL, i feel like this would have made a crewl joke but it made me want to reinstall the game just to check this method out.
