ESO Gray play button or launching to Black Screen FIX

If ESO is launching to black screen, or if the play button stays grayed out and you have already tried reinstalling the game, windows, antivirus software, and tried editing the configs, and lots of other solutions but non of them worked, this might be another POSSIBLE fix

Microsoft OneDrive is the problem (most likely if you've tried every other solution)

So some people may have made the unfortunate mistake of enabling OneDrive at all (BIG MISTAKE) and im not sure what causes it but it can not properly have your ESO files on your computer, so the one and only solution that worked after trying everything else was

go to your Documents/Elder Scrolls Online, and right click and under the OneDrive section click "keep on this computer"

or just in general attempt to stop OneDrive from interfering with your computer at all

and then afterwards for safe measure Repair repair your game files, and restart your computer and hope for the best
