Before attempting this farm, be advised you will need to have the following unlocked:

1. Randomazzo / Arcanas
2. Red Death character
3. Bone Zone level
4. XV Disco of Gold arcana
5. XX Silent Old Sanctuary arcana
6. Mindbender relic
7. Great Gospel relic

Additionally, the following are recommended:
1. all PowerUps maxed
2. XVI Slash arcana XIII Wicked Season arcana (update v.0.10)

No golden eggs are required to begin this run, but the run will become more effective as golden eggs are bought for Red Death

1. Choose Red Death
2. Limit max weapons to 1
3. Check Eggs
4. Choose Bone Zone
5. Select Hyper
6. Select Arcanas
7. Select Limit Break
8. Select Disco of Gold arcana at beginning of run
9. Grab the following passive items:

• Empty Tome
  
• Skull O'Maniac
  
• Crown
  
• Torrona's Box
  
• Stone Mask
  
• Armor (if under 500 eggs, or if you have trouble surviving) OR Attractorb (if over 500 eggs)

10. After 1-2 minutes, you should attempt to keep Gold Fever active as much as possible for the rest of the run - this is what will earn you the most gold and keep you alive through healing. When reactivating Gold Fever, also collect a majority of experience gems on the ground
11. Once all passive items are maxed, you may select Random Always for limit break upgrades to the Death Spiral weapon
12. At 10 minutes, depending on the amount of golden eggs you have bought, you may need to actively dodge the Stalker/green reaper until 11 minutes.
13. Around 11-14 minutes, you should get the chest for the second arcana, choose XX Silent Old Sanctuary
14. At this point, you should not be in danger of dying as long as you keep Gold Fever up. Gold Fever should last 2-3 minutes idling before needing to be reactivated.
15. Around 21 minutes, the third and final arcana can be collected. I have had the most success with XVI Slash XIII Wicked Season (update v0.10).

• I have heard Moongolow is better at low golden egg levels due to the opportunity to get 12 eggs + gold per 15 minute run (or 7.5 minute run on Hurry mode). However, I would argue this run requires less effort when playing, even at 0 eggs this run can be mostly idled after the second arcana is obtained at around 13 minutes
  
• I did some experimenting with Gatti Amari/Vicious Hunger as a second item, but it took more effort to get set up in the beginning, and the total gold earned per run was less
  
• For the third arcana, I have tried VII Iron Blue Will, VIII Mad Groove, X Beginning, and XVIII Boogaloo of Illusions as alternatives to XVI Slash, but have had worse results As of v0.10, it seems like XIII Wicked Season is the clear winner if you can survive (haven't tried at lower egg amounts yet)
  
• I have had better results playing on my desktop computer than on my Steam Deck - I believe the frame rate may affect the total amount of gold you can collect in a run. At 1k eggs, I can earn ~850k per run on my desktop and ~650k per run on my Steam Deck.
  
• I used the Armor passive for a while as I felt Red Death was a bit of a glass cannon in Bone Zone. I forget around how many eggs I stopped needing it. I was not sure what passive was best to replace Armor, so I chose Magnet as I had trouble picking up experience gems towards the end of runs, as visibility is impaired. Feel free to try something else.
  
• At 1k eggs, I can somewhat reliably tank the Stalker/green reaper at 10-11 minutes without moving. It helps if the other skeleton boss at 10 minutes is killed quickly. However, you should have more than enough revives at that point where an accidental death doesn't matter.
  
• I'm not sure if this is a bug, but sometimes at the end of a run the Reaper will take a while to target and kill me. I usually just pick up anything close by and manually end the run through the pause menu rather than waiting to be killed 8+ times.
  
• I have played around a little with selecting specific upgrades for Death Spiral instead of selecting Random Always. I had better results with prioritizing Amount > Area > Might > Speed. However, the additional time and effort is probably not worth it.
  
• I don't bother trying to get the rings/arrows, it doesn't seem worth it walking to them or sacrificing an arcana for Mad Groove.
  
• UPDATE v0.10 - Exchanged XVI Slash for XIII Wicked Season, adds about 100k more gold per run at 1k eggs. Have not tried at 0 eggs, if it is too challenging due to increased curse you can wait until you have a couple hundred eggs before using this.
  
• UPDATE v0.10 - I saw a run on reddit by u/th3birdofhermes with the new secret character Trouser that got 800k at 300 eggs (using Phieraggi and Gorgeous Moon). I tried this for a few minutes but the earlier game is much easier in my opinion with a fully upgraded weapon to start. If you want to maximize your gold per minute, it seems like Trouser might be a better choice!
