soviet onion is super easy, Just have every neighboring nation be a puppet. Seems time consuming, right?

Step 1: Play as Soviet Union

Step 2: Declare war on Finland asap and capitulate, Don't sign white treaty

Step 3: Take Aland Islands in the treaty, do whatever with the rest it's useless to you

Step 4: Move an army to Aland, defend the islands, and delete the rest of your divisions

Step 5: Declare war on literally any other nearby country (preferably Germany) and wait for capitulation

Once you capitulate, you should be left with your 24 divisions alone on your sad island, but at least you got the achievement

Disband the comintern, and join the allies, game will let you if allies are also at war with germany
you will capitulate but keep the aland island without the war ending

Do the path that allows you to release nations. Invade Latvia and estonia and win the civil war

I have had no experience with the blotchy capitulation or full capitulation. From what ive experienced, 24 divisions on the island and none elsewhere cause a super fast capitulation from germany, and had them take all of the mainland and leave the islands alone. As for splotchy capitulation, i only know that usually from troops being on the core states, whether your troops or allies troops called into war

This guide seems fun, however it's extremely RNG dependent. In the most of the cases after Step 5 Aland taken from you, but if it isn't, you still have some of your old core territory which means bad for the achievment.
