Trainline

Beschreibung
Dropped into city 17's lower trainline its your job to find any members of an old resistance group and get them out, if Combine forces haven't found them first.

This map is my first HLA map after coming back from a long break to finish university. I made it in roughly 2.5 weeks as a test to see if I still remember the tools and see what a degree in urban design can do. Also, I don't have my VR headset so wasn't able to fully test (thanks to Greg & VillainousPanda).

Lastly, over the coming days I will be coming back and fixing a few things, if you think you found something worth noting, please let me know.

The heavy fog adds an ethereal element to the map/mod, but I think some contrast (less foggy areas) would have had an even greater impact. No argument with the weapons and enemies. I was disappointed that the "battery" I struggled to get from the blue dog was never needed (OK, I couldn't find a use for it, but maybe I missed it). Really did not like the ending. I suppose that could be a jumping off point for more Trainline in the future. Thanks for your work creating this.

Hey, somehow I missed when this was uploaded.
I like the theme of abandoned railroad tunnel, not a lot of people actually stick with a theme, so it was kind of cool to see, could of been a part of a larger story.
The fog was the thickest I've seen, I couldn't see enemies 20ft away. It was fine mostly, until enemies were shooting me that I couldn't see, of course... maybe lighten it up a bit?
The ladder ending the map was a bit sudden once you got outside. Overall, I enjoyed the short map and enjoyed the theming.

Very much enjoyed the trip. Atmosphere was quite 'dark' in an eerie way. Look forward to more from your good self.
