NVIDIA Updating PhysX to make it work on RTX cards

PhysX Crash Fix
To use PhysX you must :
  • Have an Nvidia GPU
  • Latest drivers installed
  • Disable Shadowplay in GeForce Experience

If you don't get the latest GPU driver and PhysX software, then it might not work for you. NVIDIA has been working on updating PhysX to work for Turing GPUs (RTX 2000 and 3000 series) so this should work for anyone with an NVIDIA GPU.

Step 1.

Right click on your desktop and choose NVIDIA Control Panel

Step 2.

On the left, under 3D settings choose Configure Surround, PhysX

Step 3.

On the right, under PhysX settings, choose your processor as your GPU. Don't leave it on AUTO!

Step 4.

In your taskbar, locate NVIDIA settings, and right click on it and choose GeForce Experience.

Step 5.

Click on the gear to go to settings.

Step 6.

Disable In-Game Overlay.


Step 7.
Play Batman™: Arkham City with PhysX

Note : you can enable the in-game overlay if you need it after you enter the game, and make it record your desktop instead of the game, it will work the same way and won't crash anymore
