USS Arkansas (Reciprocating Steam Engine) Version

Descripción
The USS Arkansas is a fictional pre dreadnought ship launched in 1906 belonging to the "Great White Fleet"

This ship is built with as much performance in mind as possible.

There are still some imperfections for me to correct, if you find anything i missed, write a comment or PM me.

-Coal fired boilers powering reciprocating steam engines for the side propellers and one steam turbine for the center propeller.

-Functional turrets

Operation:

1. Switch electrical breakers to on if not already on.

2. Light boilers.

3. Wait for pressure to build.

4. Engage the steam powered generator

[Go to the bridge]

5. Spin up engines using the throttle.

6. Engage clutch.

[You should now be moving]

Have fun!

For the version only powered by steam turbines, check my workshop page.

it seems to only build pressure if I turn on infinite fuel and can't seem to get the side props to activate.

Boiler air intake is automatic, they shutoff when pressure is enough and relight when more pressure is needed. It is all as it should be :)

The boilers seem to turn themselves off and need to be turned back on

They are not supposed to be active if target pressure is reached sailing or not, to prevent steam overpressure and dumping. No matter the boiler status, if you can mantain 17 knots, which you can. everything is as i have intended.
