This game very much bears fruit to those that spend time building elite troops up and then sending them into good vantage spots and waiting. So for this guide i shall help you with such things

A vantage point is somewhere that the numerous undead cannot reach easily. Aka a roof.

GOOD HEAVENS LOOK AT THOSE VANTAGE POINTS.

Point is a vantage point is fairly great but how about in game? How do those vantage points look?

You may not like it but this is peak vantage pointing
Your men are just deleting the undead and the undead are forced to sit there and watch. Its a perfect world.

Sadly not all undead subscribe to our vantage point newsletter so we must force it upon them.
However, some will actually fight back with great success.


This is the a lieutenant infected or a patient zero. Depending on the type you can either deal damage or get shredded like kraft dinner. the way to notice is if two heavys deal about 1/4 of their health then they are a lieutenant zombie and not patient zero. If a full crew does not deal much damage it's safe to say your squad is gonzo unless you got shredder rounds.

While unable to directly deny our vantage point he will straight delete your base if your not careful so if you see him make sure you are ready to deal with him.

And our last denier
The leviathan will dig into your base infect your troops and destroy things and be a general nuisance if you do not have any anti tunneling devices. build them or disable leviathan if you do not want pain.

Now that you know the secret technique of the vantage point you too can tell zombies to flat out go ♥♥♥♥ themselves and sit on a roof and pick them off.

This strat will only work sadly if your main base island is secure or your hiding on an island that can't get touched by the infected.


Upsides to the vantage point?
you literally cannot lose troops to infection unless the big three show up then your in trouble
You can scrape up free xp like a goblin on those roofs.

Cons
You cannot get dna on a roof
You may not be able to resupply on a roof
You still do not get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a vantage point,

Moot points
You still do not get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a vantage point
