you can go nuts by ringing the whole planet, stay at the heading with N being either on left or right of ur compass, now establish solar panel stations of medium/large depending how much juice u need somewhat near each of the 4 astronium transport nodes with them not covering the panel stations at the 'equator' transit nodes, then finally power link the panel stations to the monorail line. You will never juice out ever again as they retain sun contact.
