Type-C Shuttle - USS Shenzhou Companion (RE)

Type-C shuttle is a dedicated multi-purpose runabout craft – companion to the USS Shenzhou – designed to work in REFORGED EDEN 1.8 and later.

She is fitted with a single Drill Mining Laser, two Industrial Multitools, 2x 17 kL Storage compartments, and some weaponry to protect herself in inhospitable environments.

She requires just 2 Auxiliary Cores to operate (can be stripped of her Small Modulated Pulse Lasers to operate at 85% efficiency on just 9-core set, has a slot for the third A-core).
In exchange she gets 14.2 MN of lift thrust and can carry her full load of 32kL of ore from 4G planets and moons.

Features:

- 16.9 kL Harvest Controller

- 17.1 kL Storage

- 14.2 MN lift thruster array to aid operations in up to 4G

- 2x Small Modulated Pulse Lasers (Infrared)

- 4x Retractable Heavy Minigun Turrets – two on the bottom to help clear the ground, two on the rear top that can serve as ground cover for landings in courtyards of some abandoned PIOs

- Cockpit with internal space for a pilot and a passenger

- Oxygen and Trauma Stations, and an Armor Locker in the cockpit

- Additional Oxygen Station and Armor Locker on the rear to the right and left of the entry hatch as indicated by arrows – concealed behind the decorative clamps, but easy to access

- A Drone Hatch

- Slots for the required 2 A-cores and 1 optional above and below the main core

- Access to the Jump Drive via shutters – in case you’d want an upgrade to a Warp Drive

- Sleek design merging the traditional Star Trek shuttle look with the modern geometry of the Star Trek Discovery series 😊

She is a functional eye-candy and comes with high-tech equipment it can probably do without (Modulated Pulse Lasers and Heavy Miniguns), but as she was designed to operate with the USS Shenzhou that herself requires 10 capital-sized A-cores – extra 3 SV-sized cores didn’t sound like much.
IMPORTANT: Type-C is designed to work in Reforged Eden 1.8
