However, solution was super easy: I had just missed the secret passage on the right hand side of the ladder , for some reason...

Beware of the spoilers by the way :D
(Nothing major though, some chests and a secret trrasure)
But now, there's one mystery I still don't understand. Could someone explain to me how to reach the chest in the swamp/cemetary that seems to be accessible via an opening behind the big cross, at the bottom of which there's this giant skeleton with a hammer? I tried praying and bombing the cross, both by night and during the day, all to no avail. What am I missing?
I honestly really hate "puzzles" that requires previous knowledge of information outside of the games. Like bible "puzzles" on Horror games that requires you to have a bible on hand and already know the numbers they are asking you for based on verses on the bible.
Heck, I even hate puzzles based around knowledge outside of the games even if I already have that knowledge myself because I know that there are people who wouldn't have that info. Like the puzzle related to knowing what the cards in Poker are and how they work in order to solve an important puzzles in the original Resident Evil 2.
I beat my head on that riddle for an entire week! Couldn't resign myself to search for the solution or even any clues... I eventually gave up, and realized that it would have been impossible for me to resolve it by myself, as it's based on english puns/definitions, and that I'm french .
I understand that the language of the game is based on english, and that the developers couldn't do otherwise , but why doing that kind of riddle, that excludes all non-english speaking people?
I found the game incredible before that, and I still do, but it literally spoiled all my enthusiasm...
Thanks for this awesome guide tho, it helped me a lot for this puzzle!
