This mod basically contains the original script of the M60, but with minor modifications.

Changes to the script are:

  • Compatible with any custom HUD icon mods (post-TLS update)
  • Usable by bots
  • 800 reserved ammo (def. 0)

DISCLAIMER: Firing the gun until the ammo count reaches zero will make it automatically drop from you regardless of how many reserved ammo you have. So, you have to reload the gun before its ammo count reaches zero. Besides, as bots have their own weapon preferences, those who have Assault Rifles as their preferred weapons will keep it while others will not.

Please keep in mind that the custom script mod only works on local servers. So, if you use this mod on any official/unofficial online servers, there's a chance that you'll be kicked from the server.

REMINDER: I usually don't take mod nor friend requests.

Yeah, no it does NOT work. The m60 script using in the vpk doesn't have anything to do with the reserve ammo so this mod quite literally does nothing.

1. Go to The addons, activate The mod and then restart The game.
2. Start Your own Co-op gamemode and host a local server.

This is a great mod. The only flaw I've noticed is that a bot player will stay near an ammo pile for a while and try to replenish the ammo for the M60. That bot player will eventually teleport to your location. It's a shame that Valve didn't add more ammo to the M60 and give bot players the ability to use it. They can use the M60 more effectively than I can.
