"I dumped all my ammo from my backpack, no this isn't fake. I was able to save ammo because you can do some kind of melee attack and it does massive damage, it works on every enemy but I don't think it works on the barnacle. To perform this melee attack, it's best to do it horizontally and you need to be holding a weapon, you can also use your hands as well, swinging from left to right usually does the most damage."
